Looking to follow via RSS feed for the Ebooks section.
I have done one for just the TV shows 720px264 before and want a similar one for the ebooks feed.

When I choose the RSS feed icon on that section it shows all the new posts and not just ebooks.

Can anyone advise?

I never did make a way of configuring the RSS feed.
Add this onto the end of your RSS url to show only ebooks:

&category=misc&subcategory=ebook

Are the ways to do RSS feeds for other NZB channels? I'd like to follow a few myself. If you do add this / configure this for each section - it'd be enough that I'd consider donating on the top tier ($50)... please?

Yes it's possible for each category, there's just no friendly interface for doing so.

If you tell me exactly what you want in each feed, I will write the URL for you.

hehehe - ok - you asked... :)

- http://filesharingtalk.com/nzbs/movies/x2641080/

Combine these three feeds into one:
- http://filesharingtalk.com/nzbs/tv/x2641080/
- http://filesharingtalk.com/nzbs/tv/webdl720/ (and shouldn't there also be a webdl1080??? If so - that'd be 4 feeds combined to make one RSS feed if possible)

- http://filesharingtalk.com/nzbs/software/windows/

Add this to the end of your RSS URL (they're user-specific):
&category=movies&subcategory=bluray
&category=movies&subcategory=x2641080

Not possible to combine atm.
&category=tv&subcategory=x264720
&category=tv&subcategory=x2641080
&category=tv&subcategory=webdl720
there is no webdl1080 atm.

&category=games&subcategory=pc
&category=software&subcategory=windows

That's awesome - let me give that a try! THANK YOU.

They all work - that's awesome! Thank you again.

Request for the future:
WebDL1080 category

WebDL1080 RSS feed
Combined TV (720p, 1080p, WebDL720p, WebDL1080p) RSS feed

Thanks again!

OK - did find a problem...

Created / Modified dates show:
‎Wednesday, ‎December ‎31, ‎1969, ‏‎7:00:00 PM

Which means each time the RSS client comes in - it thinks it's either a new post - or I already have it (depending on the client I tested this against). So either I get the same thing over and over and over again - or I never get anything, as they're all old.

Help?

Fixed. Funny that nobody ever reported this before (unless I missed it). The bug looks to have been there for a few years now.

This still isn't right. Every time I connect I'm presented with the same 25 articles - even if I've already marked them as read and purged them. It's re-offering them back to me. I'm not an RSS behind the scenes guru - so I'm not sure WHY this is occurring - as both CREATION DATE and MODIFIED DATE are correct - but the "RECEIVED DATE" shows the time I connect to update the feed. In my other many feeds, this would all be correct, except that I would never see duplicates with the same received date / time.

Tesco - any chance you had time to look at this? ETA on when it could be fixed (or passed on to someone who could fix it if you can't please?). Thanks a million. No rush either - if it's complex, I can be patient, just give me a heads up on rough ETA (2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years... lol).

I don't understand the problem. The RSS feed always shows the latest nzbs. And there are no CREATION DATE MODIFIED DATE RECEIVED DATE fields in the feed. The only date fields are "pubDate" (date the nzb was posted), and "lastBuildDate" which is the time that the feed was downloaded.
Sounds like an issue with your setup.

RSS is broke again - not properly formed. Did something get changed?
