Hello people. I would like to request assistance.

I need to disable the touchpad on my Asus G74Sx notebook. Is there some kind of program I can download that will allow me to disable the touchpad?

I used to have a program that allowed me to do so, but when I google it now, I don't get any results that will allow me to download that program, it was called FspUip.exe. Can anyone find this program for me to download, or does anyone know any other software alternative to disable touchpads?

The shortcut of Fn F9 doesn't work on my notebook, nothing happens when I press the shortcut. I have downloaded and installed the drivers for the touchpad.

I have gone to the device manager, the touchpad isn't even listed.

Going to mouse settings, there is no option for disabling the touchpad.

And this program that I found, I installed it, but it has no effect on my touchpad.

I do not understand why it's so hard to disable this stupid thing.

Please assist me

I disabled the touchpad!!!!!! Woohoo!!! It took reinstalling all my drivers for a 3rd time. YAY.

Hey

Do you have any FN+TOUCHPAD OFF key? Got an Asus n56VZ and it has one.
If not go to windows device manager, spot the driver/device and just "disable" it.. that should do it
Also check your drivers

Got it.. yea?
