When did laptops start having webcams built into them? What year did that start? I don't remember seeing them till around 2007? But just curious? Especially on compaq laptops?

I turned mine off via the Device Manager because of this. There is a LED that lights up when the camera is in use... but I don't trust it :ninja:

2007 seems about right. I have my really old laptop still laying around - a Dell e1405, purchased in 2006 does not have one.
