plex and amazon fire

has anyone tried using Plex with the Amazon Fire stick? Also is it better to stream mp4 or mkv

Yes. As long as your wireless connection is strong, you should not have any difficulty with the Fire Stick. I've got both, and if you can catch a sale on the Fire (it's currently $85), I'd suggest you go with the full version. The Stick is good, but the box is better.
