Not if we need to use certain webhosts and services that office 2003 isn't compatible with. A lot of them have just made the switch to office 2002 in the last few months. Office 2003 uses sharepoint to create local and remote sites. Linux and unix servers don't support it and probably won't for some time if ever.

office 2k premium takes 4 discs I think  , i got it here somewhere.

Office XP takes more than one disc, you need other discs to get like publisher I think.

Yepp - M$ <_< - you have to go via "Add/Remove" programmes with the CD in - i dont think you can just put the CD in and wait for it to boot up. Then just mark Office2000, choose "change (or edit)" then add whatever part of Office you want.

does that mean CD2???

is it possible that access is only on the professional version (if it exists)
meaning i had a cheap version?!?

Depending on which version you have, you will be asked to insert the correct CD after going to "Add/Remove" programmes. It is on CD1 anyway if at all.
