The instructions on the fairlight version of XIII say

"Installation Information:
=========================
Boil the cds for about 5 hrs under a low heat to remove the protection.
Install and Enjoy!

Oh yes game is MULTI"

Currently i cant play the game, it continuously asks me to put in a cd. I mounted a cd but it doesnt work.

What does it mean "Boil the cds about 5 hrs"? and what is a MULTI?

I thought that crack was also nuked (like the release :P ) because it didn't work after a few levels

Your not serious about boiling the CD right? wouldn't that warp the hell out of it?

There's a new "proper" crafix out for those who didn't know:

Instructions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Extract the included archive into your XIII dir, overwriting existing
files and keeping the existing dir structure.
Notes
~~~~~

To err is only human. The entire game was tested. Apparently no-one else
wanted to burn their fingers on it. The end sucks btw :-). Nice effort
from Ubisoft, it almost kept me busy for the weekend.

from what I understand it doesn't work after a few levels, the game/first crack and second "proper :rolleyes: crack" were all nuked

why is that so hard to comprehend
