Hi all first post, I have Exede as my ISP, they are bad for blocking some of the sites I use mainly browser based games, wartune, kingsroad, I have been thinking of going with some type of vpn but can't find any that have a free trial, money is tight here so cant afford trying one and having to wait 2 months to get my money back if it doesn't work, so hopefully someone will have some advice for me, thanks in advance.

You don't need a paid VPN if all you want to do is play browser games. A free one like Hotspot Shield should work, assuming they don't block them as well. Opera's Turbo/off-road mode may be another solution.

I had never heard of this provider, so I did a quick search. A forum post dated December 2014 suggests you can evade the block for one day by changing your router's MAC address[1] (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r29703195-Exceed-Throttle-Period-Websites-Being-Blocked). This (http://www.wildblueworld.com/forum/showthread.php?9177-What-exede-blocks-when-DAP-d) also contains further interesting information.

I remember reading some comments about evading the data cap on some satellite ISPs by using a VPN that is never disconnected (and thus sends and receives all data through a single TCP connection), which may make a paid one worth it for you in the long run... but you'd first need to check if that actually works for yours.
