Netherlands torrenting laws

I'm going to work in Netherlands soon and would like to know if it's dangerous to use public trackers there (DMCA notices, etc). Is anyone here from there with some info?

All I can say to you is that I've seen so many times .nl ip's in my client, I wouldn't bother it.

Downloading copyrighted material for personal use was allowed until last year. Uploading it never was.

That's the de jure situation, though - I have no idea if/how they deal with offenders.

I have found some articles about that downloading law from a year ago but i really need to know if they enforce it and if so, how they do it. Seeing .nl ips in the client is positive but i'll keep looking for more info about this.

In case i find my answer elsewhere first i'll post here, might come in handy for someone in the future.
