I did an image search for that and couldn't find a match, although I should grab a ROM and run it

I'm really sure I've played it in the NES many years ago, but a forest with mountains is a common motif so I could be entirely wrong.

I think it may be from the stage screens in the game Karateka (C64). Notice the background mountains in the various levels. There were a few mountains, each with different names.
