Basketball Question

For the merkins, obviousement. No one else actually cares.

Basketball is clearly a game for the genetically big.

However blokes like Isaiah Thomas (Boston) seem to be good at it. He's like 5'7'', which is only about a foot taller than Mulder.

Is it just because the big tall guys are so thick that a midget can out think them or something else. Maybe the blood can't get all the way up to their brains.

According to people who supposedly know, basketball is played in more countries than soccer.Globally it's also the second or third most lucrative.
It falls a bit behind in spectator appeal 7th or 8th presumably because there aren't enough blacks to go around to make it exciting.

I played point guard, which I guess is a bit like sweeper. The tall fellas are good for rebounds, rebounds, blocks, dunking on tip-toe, getting angry, and not much else. The wee fellas are generally better at dribbling, shooting, stealing the ball and setting up the play.

All other things being equal the fact that a six foot two point guard is always preferable to a five foot seven point guard mostly invalidates your..... point.
