the problem with that is there is soooo much other p2p programs out there that are aparently better than K-lite. for example Sharazaa. so you can expect a shortage of K-lite users and with the RIAA lawsuits going on its putting a damper oin all P2P once the whole thing with the RIAA goes down (and we win of corse) then expect a searge of new users.

Maybe people but the network still has an average user base of 4 million each day, don't think these figures equate to a programme DYING.

I think its dieing in terms of the quality of files

I don't care if I got speeds of an insane amount. If the file is no good, the file is not worth downloading.

the only thing keeping kazaa at the top (usage wise) is the ease of use
i always said, if kazaa wasn't easy enough for a fetus to use it wouldn't be this popular
k-lite is my last resource, if i just HAVE to have the bonus track on a cd -- or some porn :P

at least porn is still going strong on kazaa

but i have increasingly started using BT over kazaa mainly because of latest files.. but when im looking for music i still use kazaa.. i also try to keep the client open as much as i can to promote sharing..

K-Lite has turned to SH^%...
Almost EVERYtime I turn it on for even small downloads, I wind up finding fewer and fewer results, and when I eventually do find what I`m looking for it`s either a weeklong wait or continual searching/retrying.. IMHO only, K-Lite has fallen by the wayside and and will be forgotten as I personally turn to BT etc...

I don't think K-Lite is dead. I still find lots of stuff with ease (especially music & software). However, I have recently installed BT and I have to admit that although I was looking for "Matrix Revs" to no avail in Kazaa (you may have seen some postings of mine about this), in BT I was offered a lot of files at a glance (and D/Led one succesfully, of course).

As far as I see it, Kazaa has advantages and disavdantages vs. BT. The pros of Kazaa are that it is more user-friendly, it cosumes less bandwidth, you can preview your D/Ls, and there is greater variety of files. On the other hand, BT is very strong in movies, and there are no bogus files at all. Moreover, I have enjoyed greater speeds in BT (although this may simply be coincidental).

In brief: Between Kazaa and BT, the best is TO HAVE THEM BOTH! ;)

Guys We(klite users) r the only hope for klite if we quit then we can say YES Klite is DEAD so if u use other P2p for real file after getting it u can share it on kazaa then there will be real files too not only fake's.

In the last few nights I noticed there were only about 3,750,000 people when usually there are over 4 million people on at about 8pm UK time. I wasn't online last night, but it seems strange that this week over a quarter of a million people appear to be missing.
