What's up with Demonoid or 'dnoid.me'?

So Demonoid is back, Idk when that happened but it seems kinda phishy. I logged back in to my old profile, it still had it and it said my join date which was correct, Jan 2007. But I'm pretty sure I got some malware from being on it. Is dnoid simply another mirror?

dnoid.me is the real thing, and their old domains redirect to that. Anything else is a scam.
