DaDuck is a person or group of people much like TMD and TCR are who put up movies on p2p networks.

So, DaDuck, TMD, and TCR, are not file formats? I thought TMD meant videos recorded by a camcorder in a theater.

they are not file types, they are the names of ripper groups.

Hey! That was a really cracking link! Nobody should D/L videos without knowing the info supplied by that K-Lite Board topic covering video sources (IMHO, it should actually be pinned).

Just a quick related question, is there a list / thread / something where different release groups are mentioned ?

There are so many names, I'd like to be able to see what they have every now and again, and also how they compare.

DaDuck Is A Person Who Encodes The Larger SVCD. VCD. To DivX For Those With A Slower Connection Or Lazy PPL Like Me That Cnt B Arsed To Get 2 Disc Movies If I Dont Have 2 :P

So Like a 2cd 1.4gb movie will be encoded to a 600-700MB filr

TMD stands for "The Movie Depot" :D
