Hello.

It seems that the universe doesn't want me to see season 2 of the new "The Odd Couple". I had it on a RAID and the RAID got corrupted from an old drive and that I had started moving some things around. Anyway, I was able to salvage season 1 and season 3 but season 2 couldn't be restored. I was using Plex to deliver the content. Normally I don't ask in a forum for a file, but my mom is visiting and she likes to watch both the old and new Odd Couple shows telling me how much better the old shows were.

OK, now you are wondering did he just check usenet or torrent? Yes I did. Except I don't have access to private sites. So I used just about every public NZB and torrent search that is on the internet. Yes I did find many torrents and NZBs, all of which are dead-ends. Torrents have no seeds and NZBs will not complete (not even close).

I'm looking for the web downloads, DVD or bluray so I don't have to hear "why is that station on your TV?" Why does it say "city" you don't live in "city". It's amazing that out of all of the terabytes that were corrupted or needed to be rebuilt, this season was the only one that didn't survive. It's also crazy that I can't find it anywhere that I look.

I appreciate your help. NZBs or torrent files that work would be great.

There are all on Usenet Crawler as well free NZB site to join and all formats and quality Blu rays, but being realistic most 480p to 1080p versions are .MKV

Edit: My apologies Richard they are not Blu rays on Usenet Crawler for S02 they are either HDTV which you didn't want and Web rips in all qualities meaning 1080p down and it does apply that the standard for higher quality rips are usually MKV now, I also checked IPT torrents if there was any Blu ray rips there and i didn't see any just for reference. If Pussy Anon has Blu ray versions on torrent i would suggest you go with them ok

Anyway, the torrents in question belong to a private tracker; I was thinking of either grabbing and reuploading for Richard62, or sending him the .torrent file so he can get the files on my account, but in either case "WebDL, DVD or Blu-Ray" isn't specific enough for me to decide on one torrent. The best thing I found is a 1080p Amazon WEBRip, would that be okay?

If you really take an average person and actually look at the amounts of downloads on NZB sites, i would say the biggest downloads are the standard hdtv/web download which i think reading his post may or may not be sufficient, so i would say the most or second most downloads would be a 720p version.. But tell me if i am wrong Anon??
even TV web rips most of the time have the station logo or something of that sorts in the encode no?? now the standard one or not the 720p version i usually notice it is also a bigger file (tell me if i am crazy about that??), and so i can only assume it may have better sound or picture quality, or the fuckhead that encoded it doesn't know what the fuck he is doing!!?? (even know i appreciate the person doing it and uploading it on usenet:D)..
So after making a short story long i will download one now and see if there is any TV stations shit on it ok and then i will let you know....

As far as I know WEBRips come from the streaming services of Netflix, Amazon or Hulu, so they shouldn't have any logos.

Personally, I watch TV on my 1366x768 laptop and always delete after watching, so I'm fine with any 720p release.

Indeed, the one I found is the complete season 2 pack from that same group. If he has fast and reliable Usenet access and there aren't any missing parts, then an NZB is the better choice.

A WEBRIp has been re-encoded whereas a WEB-DL is untouched from the source so it's probably going to be better.

Things off of Amazon other streaming services won't have logos but sometimes shows off of networks sites, though rare may still have them. Also apparently Amazon uses an algorithm so files sourced from there, especially at lesser resolutions like 720p can actually be visually inferior to their HDTV counterparts.

I have compared many WEBRips and WEB-DLs and it's tough to notice a difference usually. My understanding is that the video of a WEBRip is the video screen captured while streaming. A WEB-DL is the actual stream data captured. If a quality program is used to do the screen capture, a WEBRip can look pretty good. Anything with AMZN label will be label free. The mSD and MeGusta releases are usually always HDTV source, unless labeled WEB.

BTW, the older Odd Couple is much better than the newer one. Matthew Perry should of retired after Friends.

Edit: Talking about Web rips? There are times that i do find the ratio size off (look blown up or expanded) on them compared to HDTV rips??
even know the HDTV rips have broadcast logos i usually download those and wait for the Blu ray if they do come out to replace...

I wouldn't download untouched Blu-Ray discs even if I had the hardware to, uh, appreciate them. Getting just one movie would take ages, and in all likelihood, the difference against a good (and much smaller) encode is negligible.

My nature.. I apologize buddy, you did say what you prefer and i missed it. I use xbox ones and PS4's to stream shit in some rooms and on the main tv in my fam room i steam through it direct (only one that is a smart TV), all connected through my rogers internet box and a PC with a bunch of hard drives in it(kind of mickey mouse, but all wired and not wifi crap:happy:) and none really can stream BD's but i have a Pivos box and it really is cool to be able to stand an inch from the screen and see the difference it the pixel definition, but once you move back it is a waste of hard drive space, and as i said i have only a few movies i keep to that degree of size.. But i do choose when it comes to action movies to be a medium size, for some of the smaller encodes, yes you won't really see a difference in the video, but the audio big time difference!!, and if you ever have tried to encode your own from an original BD you really notice that the audio file is large in size as well , like 40% of the file.. I tried doing it a few times, downloaded all the shit people suggested to use programs,and stuff and it never worked properly for me, so i just rely on the great people that upload the shit to Usenet or when i use Torrents if i am desperate (very rare)..
