okay, right now im deciding which card to buy. i want to play halo, splinter cell, and ffxi. here are the choices

fx5200 128 mb
radeon 9000 pro 64 mb
radeon 9100 pro 64 mb (pci)
radeon 9200 se 128 mb.

they are all in the 50 dollars range.

i know this should be in hardware world. but i though ppl from gameworld would know which card can run what game better.

radeon 9200 se 128 mb- is prob the best in the list...
but halo still wont run great on that card...

fork out a couple hundred more for a radeon 9800 pro.
but if halo's lagging with the card u have (really bad lag i mean), u should prob worry more about a new processor/motherboard...
try turning down display resolution/glare..etc...

i know the fx5200 will handle it, because i have a ti4200 which is better than the fx5200 and it does a very good job at playing halo.

If my 3 year old GeForce 256 can handle all those games, any of those cards will work.
