2 Users?

lately i have noticed that all the files i download only come from a max of 2 users i know all that stuff about who is avalible and all but still i always got like 5 users and sometime more on some downloads

we have seen this a million times and it seems to be a supernode issue lets do a test to see:

please do a test,search for van halen’s right now and wait untill you get 30 or more sources and then pick for download and tell me what you get make sure your traffic is paused or clean

ok i paused the traffic it got to 61 sources then i clicked for download it got to 2 users then 3 but for a very short time then the speed dropped suddenly from 131kbps to 24 kbps then back to 2 sources than to 1 and back to 2

please try changing a few supernodes and run the test again for each and see what you get

its the supernode boss unfortunetly the kazupernode forum is down right now, so be patient also please change and locolize your supernodes, don't jump change them, notice i asked you to changed them not jump

I am a newbie and seems having an awful time with the connection - getting 2 users is great - 5 is a BONUS to me!!

I only get 1 users connected (I think it is myself) Something is wrong with my connection which I cannot put my finger on it.

Can anyone out there who is patient enough to assist me please? I have not been able to get connected since October - very desperate!!!

lol np i was going to post a link to a good explaination by nemo on what is a supernode but that was on the fasttrack forum also, so it was a no go

this problem never gets better. I have changed supernodes many times over months and if you you do find a good one it wont be there for long. whatever
your downloading it always ends up with a few sources and even if it starts fast, it will drop off to below dial-up speed.

What about people behind routers and firewalls with KaNAT?


another strange thing is I share thousands of files and I have a lot of
software (good stuff) but not one person in the last 8 months has even
tried to get one. movies or jpegs are all that ever get uploaded, so I tried only
sharing software and its like the files are invisable to people.

maybe I should try a clean install of Kazaa lite?

clean install does nothing at all, its a noob myth that it will fix everything, but it fixes almost nothing

try to update to kazupernodes 1.4.7 (http://www.advert-solutions.com/ftfakes/kazupernodes/), install in the same exact directory and see if that helps

but if your isp is caping or blocking then nothing will work like that so it might be a good idea to give them a call and see what they say before we go anywhere else

I have had the same problem for quite some time.
before i reformated a few days ago I installed NUMAGA SOFTICE
It reset my desktop Itreset my windows and kazaa.
after that I got multible sources on all my files and high speeds (11 movies)
I saved my DAT files and reformated when I started them back up.
:angry: 2 users all over again.

I usually get my best luck with only having 3 files active(wich isn&#39;t enough for my demands.

I hope this information will help getting the problem diagnosed.
