Is it possible to not get the end of a toothpaste tube plastered with old sticky toothpaste. All my life I would be so excited that we got new toothpaste just so that I could do my best not to mess up the end of it, but everytime it happened anyways. I figuared it was just because there were 5 other people living with me. Then I moved out with my girlfriend and it still happened. I don't think I have ever seen a nearly empty toothpaste tube without the end being all guncked up.

It's possible if you wipe it after every use and close the cap.

And it also helps if you write a little note on it that says "if the business end of me gunks up I will come to life and kick your ass"

(smiley optional) :)

Well, I live on my own and the end tend's to remain fairly clean, just occasionaly when i'm lazy it end's up with toothpaste on it, so it sound's like it's your GF making it a mess ;) :P

We call toothpaste "Dencorub" here in Australia. Did you know that?

Quite honestly, i much prefer using a mouthwash - i use toothpaste in the mornings though together with the mouthwash.

It all started when my dad kept on saying..."wash your mouth out son...." Guess it just stayed with me :)

Peace

I brush every morning...but...I tend to get pretty lazy at night though. I have never had fantastic brushing habbits...and yet I have no cavities, while my sister brushes 3 times a day and has had 4. I don't get it.

maybe its your diet - you might have more vital nutrition, vitamins (can't remember which ones are important) or calcium

I'm a toothbrushing fanatic, so toothpaste doesn't last long enough in this house to get gunked up. Seriously, I brush my teeth at least 5 times a day. Anytime my mouth doesn't feel as fresh as I'd like it or my teeth don't feel squeaky clean. I also floss each time and use an antibacterial mouthwash each time.

I think the term you're looking for is obsessive/compulsive

I would say. :D

Do you carry your implements in a hip-holster?

Can you brush, floss, and rinse while driving your tractor?

No, while driving my tractor I chew Arm and Hammer dental gum...

I do carry a toothbrush, mini tube of toothpaste and floss in my purse though.

Well, living at home with my family, surprisingly, the end stays clean. I suggest you either do as suggested and ensure the lid is firmly closed and wipe it with a tissue after each use. Failing that, lock your downstairs windows each night, never heard of a serial toothpaste end spoiler, but it might be happening. There's always proximity mines but after the 12th £25,000 restoration of your south facing wall, it becomes quite costly.
