I'm having trouble to convert a movie in SVCD to a normal screen size (VCD does it normal, wide screen) I have tried to manually change settings but it won't work. is there another program which can convert a movie to SVCD? (agood one... :lol: )

tmpgenc is the best, you need to choose the correct settings
if its already wide screen, & you choose full screen KEEP ASPIC RATIO it will keep it full screen, it sounds counterintuitive

Mate goto advanced then double click "clip frame".Goto arange method & choose center (custom).You should be able then to arange the screen however you want it.
