NewsLeecher v8.0 Beta 1

I'm trying out the new version of NewsLeecher. The best new feature is the ability to handle obfuscated files. Plus, it now recognizes all NZBs that before it would not (makes my life easier).

How do you rate it overall compared to other utilities? Do you use any others?

It's definitely the easiest to use, IMHO. I don't like the single-click apps. I like to control every step of the process (download files, scan files (par2), extract files). I've had to re-download entire archives because the automated app screwed something up.

I'm sure most people will say SABNzb is the best. I don't like it at all.

I do use Forte Agent sometimes. If Newsleecher has trouble with something.

Do you ever encounter Newsleecher downloading non-extracted files? Like they're just a bunch of random title files. Or is that the actual nzb?

I still think this is the easiest software to use out there...imo….it did take them awhile to hit V 8 but now it is picking up again and I am loving the new features...
