Today we celebrate not being any of the other countries. Sure, you may say that things are going so poorly right now that one would think that the entire country is built on ancient Indian burial grounds. To that I say, HA! Only *most* of the country is! The Indians have stated that they really can't explain Florida, and make no claims to having cursed it.

So gather around the table and gaze upon food that was cooked in the very house which you are eating. Glance next to you at relatives you have not seen since you were all forced to sit at the table with them last year. Your uncle is still rich-- having inherited everything, which has made your father resent him every day of his life. Your cousin is still a slut. Grandma will receive her annual call from the family later tonight at the retirement home. Your niece and nephew were both recently diagnosed as autistic, which explains *a lot*. And, having failed in your attempt to escape from the holiday, you can't wait for it all to be over.

Basically, what I am saying is HAPPY THANKSGIVING, 'merka!

I second what Meg said in the post! :)

(...but giving what the Seminole Native Americans in Florida have done with all their Reservations / Casinos*... they gave my son this day off in observance of this day to spend with his family. Thank you very much!) :)

*Perhaps a curse? I rarely win, but can't hit a big score as family is employed there. :alien:

Happy Thanksgiving yourselves.

Here is a troo story:

I live on the rez.

The Father of Indian gaming is my brother-in-law - yours truly lost the first money Indian gaming won.

My kids are tribal.

I could go on, but.
