Wow...I have heard all about truffles but never tasted one. They are so incredibly expensive, yet the look like dog turds. What gives?

It's hard to describe.

Truffle-info (http://www.trufflemarket.com/cgi-bin/market.pl?truffle_facts.htm)

They are indeed expensive, but still cheaper then for instance pot.

And when you taste something prepared with truffle.........

Just incredible.....

I would love to say I spoil myself but I've been on the Atkins and very sugar deprived. But I love white Lindt balls. They are just sex in a wrapper...http://www.bulkfoods.com/pictures/2087_white_chocolate.jpg

I hate to say this, don't want to put you off your food Yogi, but I agree (in a way) with Ella about how they look, for the price you'd expect them to be shaped like a woman's body lol ;) As long as you enjoy them though that's all that really matters :)

@ Ozbabe - Hell yea, Strawberries with cream (or ice-cream) are delicious!! :) I alway's sprinkle some sugar on them though to add a little bit more sweetness to them, really make's the mouth water then :)

One other thing, of the top of my head, I really enjoy are Kebab's, unhealthy as all hell but damned nice lol :) I can hardly ever afford them or Strawberries though, perhap's once a year :(

Sniper. (Feeling hungry now lol)

;) This doesn't happen often, but when I really want to spoil myself (food wise) I have a bowl of ice cream with chocolate topping and sliced up bananas and whipped cream. Totally decadent and yummy, and all too rare!

I doubt i'd be able to leave them that long, when i've got thing's like that in the place it tend's to dissapear fast as I can't help but finish food off when I start eating something lol ;) (And, despite how much chocolate and stuff I eat sometimes i'm still only 11 & 1/2 stone! :) )

I'd love be there sharing them together ;)

@ Yogi - Wonder's just how much of that hooker comment is speculation heh ;) You say "When you visit a hooker, you pay much more and you get less...........(i think:"> ...........) " but it could be the opposite if not careful i'd imagine, such as getting something which would require some embaressing visit's to doctor's, or even a child support agency on your door step wanting a blood sample!! rofl ;)

Blood sample? They do DNA testing here. And if the man is found to be the father, he pays the $700 odd bucks for the test. Fair 'nuff too.

Edit: Sorry for digressing.....another weakness is these....hhmmm.....

last week... i took about 30 huge strawberries... melted chocolate... dipped the strabs in them... put them in the freezer for about 30 minutes... then built a totem with them... and left them to get really set in the fridge... they were heavenly...

i might even do that again this weekend... ;)

of course im happy to share... :*

Apart from the occasional really expensive piece of rump steak, i very rarely spoil myself foodwise - BUT, i do buy a nice bottle of something to wash down my din dins if i'm feeling deppy. Instead of the usuall vodka i mean :P

I enjoy my food anyways, i take an awefull amount of time eating it - up to about an hour and a half - especially if i have company.

Ice cream is nice occasionally, apple-crumble pie - yummy ;)

Peace
