Dvd Help

When i try to play my dvd every program i use says its not responding but when i take the disk out of the drive the prgram works again anyone help me here????

its not reading your dvd

Try turning autoplay of on the dvd rom or boot up the dvd player program after the dvd has stopped spinning up.
