I do not know but do you think there is an African Music Association?
And what is the name?

I think Africa has bigger problems with violence - they cannot allow to
stop sharing ;) it is more important for them now ;) as ever...

In Germany there is an organisation called GEMA, but it is not the same
as the RIAA - they take care that e.g. Radio Stations or at Parties for each played
song a fee will be payed...

and they taking care of the copyright of the Lyrics...

GEMA = Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte

means: Organisation for music performance/broadcasting and mechanic
right to copy it several times/Copyrights...

http://www.gema.de

They have an image of their office building, which is located in munich, I have
to get there and see the building and make a photo of me standing so close to the huge GEMA!!! hehe!!!

Sure I know what Gema is..it's not only in germany. On many cds I saw the Gema sign.
hehe :)) I lived in Munich for a while .. but I don't know that there is any Gema building there..I think the European Patent office is there..or however it's called.
Yeah even my favourite Cappella CD has a Gema sign!!
bus still : the providers should stop monitoring their customers !! That's also against any laws !

I think that is done - monitoring - if something like paedohilia issues or violent
crimes are going to happen... normally log files are being deleted I think...

But true you are right!

In russia there is great contrast:

~many people having great success, earning much money...
~and many poor homeless people (shit, it is very cold there!)

But the most russian sites and polish site are loading here in germany
very slow :(

many russian sites are loading pretty quickly.. but the great thing is that on russian sites you can find a lot of stuff and the russian sites will never be closed and russian servers will never be shuted down.. that's what's great on russian sites.. may be when there would be a russian filesharing community.. I mean when servers would be in russia... either the riaa or someone else could stop this. Russia is a country where they don't care about copyrights and other stuff like this.

just check out this site..club.mp3search.ru
It's completely in english.. how I said an albuum cost about $0.50 and a song about 0,05 cents.. U also can load up your account by phome with an number which costs some euros per minute... :D
and then we can share those files on kazaa..there are sure no fake files

I think it is easier to have filesharing servers in russia at the moment, because
the duma (russian government) has other problems at the moment than filesharing.
Their economy is not really as good as in the United States, isn't it?

But if it changes some time it is quite possible they would also go after illegal
music downloads. Ok, that would take some time. Sure, some more years.

Can you tell me a russian site, which loads quickly? The other thing is,
although I understand polish, I do not understand russian and a lot of their
sites are only in their native language :( Does I have to learn russian now?
But don't worry, I have a friend who probably wold translate it for me and you
can still use google, can't you?

I will checkout club.mp3search.ru - and pm you, just ignore what I said
above, that you should show me a site: when ansering I go through your message
and just now cam to the site adress you gave me.

YEah.. I don't thinkt that Russian economy will be better in the next years. There are some russian sites which load quickly but I also don't know many of them. I don't think that its possible with google to translate from or into russian. But I know russian
There are many russian sites in english, too. :)
May be this will be the solution soon.. A filesharing sever in Russia.. It can't either be affected by the RIAA or any other organisation.
Yeah..there's already a software called Earthstation 5.. How the creators tell, the servers are located in a Palestine refugee camp or something like this. But I don't believe this.. This software has a lot of bugs and it sure contains spyware and so far. Also the president of Earthstation5 told that they've more than 11 milliion users.. no one believes this..on download.com it was only downloaded a few thousand times..
Yeah..but russian filesharing software would be great.

That sounds fun, if I was American I'd go find the RIAA headquarters, get a laptop and a wireless router nearby, and start downloading copywrighted stuff outside.

Hehe.

 That sounds very funny! I've always wondered why no-one in the USA ever seems to protest outside the building in Washington - isn't it easily accessible to the public ? Is there an exclusion zone around it or something? I have no idea, I've never been to the USA before.

Come we have to organise protests - in my opinion filesharing is to few mentioned
in the media!!!!

It must be mentioned on the media especially K++!

In magazines ... If the rest of the world would not know what is going on they
would not take care of RIAA''s action.

The last time I saw Kazaa in an article was in "DER SPIEGEL" (serious german magazine) some months ago, about who developed it and so on, but about the sueing there were not many articles!

As sharing is important! Media should report it!
