Hey guys, to whom ever can help me figure this out I would be greatly appreciatve...

I downloaded Simpsons Hit and Run using BitTorrent. It downloaded the 1.8 gigs successfully. the files have the extention .sfv and 001-050, i found a program called Easy SFV creator, when I Combine the files into the bin i get a message saying
Warning: It seems that the SFV file selected for comining wasn't created with Easy SFV Creator and the combined file will most probably be unusable

Sadly i continued anyway and burned the bins (that were full size) to cds and the cds end up being blank ;),

The ripped game is fun FAiRLiGHT if that helps anyone, i hope someone knows which program i am to use to combine these files into the .bin

Thanks
Matt

Open the files in winrar and click on the first one. The bin will then be extracted from that. No programs are needed to do this.

no the file extension is .rar

you need to download and install http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm

open the first file (001 or 000) and you will have the bin/cue files

then you don't have to waste cdr's again download and install daemon tools

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/portal.php

1. Install Daemon Tools
2. On the bottom of your screen there is little icon of Daemon Tools, click it.
3. Click on "Device 0: [H:] No media" (H could also be another letter) and a window pops up.
4. Select the disc image (cd 1's cue file) and click on open it will start to load, then it will ask for cd2
clicke the icon and unmount all drives, then load cd 2's cue and it will finish the install

Split files in warez releases are rarely created with anything other than WinRAR or WinACE. Download the latest versions of both and next time try un-archiving with WinRAR (then WinACE if you get errors).

Edit: Jesus, two replies before I get mine off - all because I was asking the wife to make me a cuppa coffee!

The sfv file is there so you can check the CRCs of the files to make sure they're not corrupt.
