I've got a real strange one. i don't even know if there's a name for it.

bascially, i'm afraid of getting old. i mean really old. im 18 now, and not afraid of the 20s or 30s, but anything over 50 freaks me out.

I just can't imagine having so many wrinkles
being basically immobile
extreme loss of senses (hearing and seeing)
less itellectual capacity
and also, old people smell like roadkill

if someone found the gene responsible for growth and knew how to keep it supressed, i'd be the first one to try it. even thinking about it gives me the creeps.

what are u guys/gals afraid of? (and don't say the dark, then there's reason to call u a pussy)

@ quiksilver_aus - Try not to worry about that, as there are many peep's over 50 that are active and don't have too many prob's :) My grandfather is coming up to 70 and he's only recently stopped working (and that was only because the work ran out) so when you reach 50 it's not the end of the world :)

I do understand what you mean though, when I was coming up for 20 I remember I was thinking I was getting old, and then at 21 and 22 and so on, and now i'm 28 i'm dreading becoming 30 in a couple years but I know it won't really be any different to being 28 :)

Well, my phobias are Spiders, and a mild couple are of drowning and suffocating :(

@ Ozbabe - lol I don't think he ment he has them, just he's affraid of getting them ;) :P CockRoaches (Why the hell do they have the word "Cock" in front of them, now i'm starting to be affraid of them lol) aren't the nicest animal's on Earth, though the ones in "Joes Apartment" are cool lol :)

Sniper.

EDIT : "Gerascophobia" - Fear of getting old

I hate heights. I hate walking across bridges's because I always think I'm going to fall.

I also have a phobia of public speaking. When I'm up in front of a large crowd of people I don't know my knees shake, my hands get cold, and I burn in the face. It's horrible.

I'm really afraid of spiders, I just hate the sight of them, they creep me out. When I was little I literally froze when I saw one, now I just turn pale and step away as far as I can

I'm also a bit scared of being left alone. I mean that someone you really like just leaves all of a sudden and you don't ever see him/her again

I don't like anything that moves fast........spiders, shrimps, birds etc

Having said that I'm terified of crabs (eadible kind <_< ) my dad used to tease me with live crabs and I suppose thats why, I tried to overcome it by being a crab fisherman........when you're afraid of something and a big bloke in a boat is passing you hundreds of them it's a little bit un nerving  Never did get used to them, but when with the other fishermen I just pretended I was fine.......them once I get indoors I'd chuck them in the sink and run around the house doing the birdy impression

Agoraphobia,

i had a bad trip 14 years ago from smoking some weed.
Everything went black before my eyes, but i refused to pass out..
I did everything in my might to stay on my feet. Push-ups (about 500), cleaning , you name it... untill i got the control back.

That was the first time i ever lost control over myself.

Still have it... it sucks!
