Sign up for one year and they will give you a $99 credit towards the equipment. So if you choose the modem it is basicly free.

what does credit mean. Will i have to pay the money leter on time.

or does it mean that if i just cancel i have to give it back. Like im leasing it.

You are buying the equipment through them. So they give you a credit towards it, they give you that much money to spend.
However, you'd have to really read the fine print. You'd be signing a service contract with them. If you cancel you will more than likely have to repay the $99, plus any fines for early termination of the aggreement.

Here's a summary.

It's 26.95 a month for a year and after that is 49.95 a month. WIthin that year, you can not terminate or you will receive a early termination fee of 200 dollars. The modem is 99 dollars but is instantly free. (meaning there is no mail in rebate. It's all for free.)

Hope you join the SBC Yahoo! Dsl family. :-D
