days ago i saw a post on a tracker's forum where someone volunteered to confess to staff that his current account is bought and want staff to ban it and allow him to register a new one. i feel really bad for the guy who traded with him and are about to be implicated.

this made me, who was already cautious, even more dare not to trade on internet. by trade, i mean invite each other win-win that don't involve money.

1- what can we do to keep ourselves as safe as possible trading on internet? any experience in choosing reliable trading partners?

2- also, are meeting staffs of tracker (entrapment) the only thing we need to worry about? bc i have zero experience on trade invitations. are there any other bad things that may happen and we should keep in mind in advance? for example, sometimes i see a person who has collected tooooo many sites that i inevitably wonder if he's a professional reseller that sell invite i sent to him to someone else? and then causing me collateral damage? so i'm not sure if the signal is good or bad if the other guy shows he has a lot of sites.

i have zero experience on trade invitations.

I strongly recommend you keep it that way, it'll be easier in the long run. I have nothing against trading per se, although it often overlaps with other behaviors I do disapprove of like extreme collecting, invite selling and account hijacking, and tracker staff are both vocal and strong in their opposition to all of them in any case.

A general tracker like FL.io, IPT or TL will fulfill most of your needs. Most of the "elite" ones people trade for have alternatives that are almost as good and much easier to join. If you're willing to put on some effort, an oft-given piece of advice is to do the RED interview and reach Power User status there to gain access to their invite forum... I find the idea of using one tracker purely as a gateway to others silly, but it is a popular choice.

filelist and iptorrents are really the main sources I use, but this one I want to join doesn't have official recruiting anywhere based on /ptg/, and invites giveaway are extremely rare too (checked, not on ggn, emp and red forums, only appears on forum of another medium class tracker last year and it's the only time appeared in the past few years). On the contrary, its invite giveaway/trade has been appearing on sites that specialize in invitation trading/giveaway in the past few years. But those giveaway threads have dozens even hundreds of applicants, I don't feel I'll be lucky enough to be selected.

So basically, I feel hopeless getting an invite without "invite mutual aid" - the name I'd rather to call it.

- You can join quite a number of Invite Forums, just google them, become active and gain reputation points, you can get some very
decent invites BUT pleaaedo not use the same nick here in FST. Those Invite forum have Umlimited giveaway.
- Also, in their Forum, they have the constant Updates on Trackers that are Open, especially now during X'mas times.
Good luck,bro

And if all that fails, you can buy your invite in the marketplace section most of them conveniently offer :smilie4:

- Sure beats waiting around in FST "begging" for an invite, based upon his stats,he just joined not long ago and still seems pretty green
to Torrenting and not much of a reputaton yet to make many friends around here to invite him either...

It's not the fault of us unfriendly bastards, we don't even know which mysterious site he wants an invite for. :idunno:

anyway, hope he decides what particular Tracker he wants BUT you are right with TD [ Torrentday ]. Fl [ Filelist.ro ]. TL [ Torrentleech ] IPT - pretty much satisfys
most caterogies of any content. Furthermore,if he has a seedbox that we really facilitate he becoming a power user or Elite member soon.

With a VPN he can even venture to public trackers as well.

It's not the fault of us unfriendly bastards, we don't even know which mysterious site he wants an invite for. :idunno:Because I didnt plan to actually request it in this post, mainly wanna ask about general opinions on the trading. FST is more like a purer discussion club for me without invites request involved (there're so many other places to do this). 4chan doesn't welcome people from my zone (they block my zone) and r/trackers is too strict too "elite" and constantly being judged by downvotes, FST is a relatively more free place to have little chat.

Anyway answer received, better not trade, considering all kinds of risk (though still don't understand why invite mutual aid is disallowed. people are just helping each other, not making profit!).

With a VPN he can even venture to public trackers as well.Thank you BT God! I've already on FL TL IPT. Honestly, if there is a tracker that has a request section so capable that as long as a file exists on piracy world, there will definitely be members who can carry it here, then I don't bother join more trackers anymore.

Once I needed a very rare warez, so requested help on warez-bb, rutracker, puzo, rsload, sanet, dirtywarez and all other "famous" places, but received no response sadly. surprisingly you know what? in the end, on a forum I seldom visit, very inactive and with small number of members, its moderator helped me found it. he said he found it elsewhere. - An awesome request system values more.

Another time I met a blue movie, it had a keep2share link, so I only could preview for minutes and couldn't download it, so I looked on pornolab, emp, kufirc, exoticaz, rarbg and IPT, all no luck. I requested on IPT and used half of my bonus points, waited half a month but still no luck in the end. this's when I know IPT's request system is not that good....

- If you are able to be invited to TD [ TorrentDay ] , pretty much you have all your basis covered and if Trackers like TD,FL and IPT have packs so much MORE
the better and they are usually Freeeleeech too. FL used to have an "Elite Forum" which enough Reputation power points, one can be eligible to REQUEST an Invite, but
now it is Disable.
For warez, another good spot to check it out is 2baksa.ws, a russiab zite that provides the latesWindows & Android apps,Serbian wares is NOT bad too.
- The less Tracker you have the less chances that the Trackers that you worked hard to get.will not get into Inactivity and being a
collector. Managing Trackers even with a Big and fast Seedboxes can be a lot of "work"..LOL

That's surprising considering how free 4chan is. Maybe your IP ended up in a spam blacklist for some unknown reason, that happened to me once. Anyway, /ptg/ is actually good for pragmatic, no-bullshit discussion; my only complaint is that the "curry vs. neon" and "taxi to Orpheus" memes get tiresome after a while.

RIP Warez-BB, my #1 source for many years :( You may want to add SilentGround and BlackPearl to your list. RevolutionTT is famous for its high request filling rate, also.

collector. Managing Trackers even with a Big and fast Seedboxes can be a lot of "work"..LOLI've added them all to a folder of bookmarks and every week, just right click, open all bookmarks, to avoid cookie expired and some sites inactive :) But it's true that, in principle, it is less troublesome to only join a few of the best sites.

You may want to add SilentGround and BlackPearl to your list.have googled 10 min and still have no clear image what blackpearl.biz and silentground.org are for....only know they're piracy related...
Are they resource sharing sites eg dirtywarez, or discussion/news/gossip/trivia sites (similar to r/piracy) or middleman sites eg TPS/IMT?
If they're resource sharing site, are they hoster based or tracker? are they only for certain types media (eg mobilism is mostly only for ebooks/apks, no movie/TV) or all of media?

and most importantly, are they good?*
asking bc often sites that are too closed are just killing themselves i feel (exceptions like btn/hdb are rare). Gradual inactivity of older members is slow but inevitable, a site needs constant flow of new members to keep it active. from the difference of how hard to join and how active the site is (new torrents per day, % of requests being fulfilled) between bib and mobilism, thegeeks and bitspyder, I've learned confidently that hard to join definitely doesnt mean good, but more usually means dissappointed after finally joining. btw sorry, im not very active in bitspayer lately, because busy with other sites, will probably continue to upload torrents after a while.

RevolutionTT is famous for its high request filling rate, also. How does it compare to baconbit on request system? I've met the recruit standards to apply for bb, but haven't made time to apply yet. I plan to take 1-2 more general sites and that's enough, was intended choose from ncore, bb, mteam, funsharing and TVV. dont know which one is best on request system.

They're both all-round warez forums, and they're pretty good. BlackPearl has or had an interview process, if you're interested. SilentGround has an invite system, but I don't have invites or know how they're distributed.

No worries, just make sure to log in at least once every 50 days to keep your account active. ;)

I've never been a member there, so I don't know.
