As the topic says....
in some of the movies I have downloaded (I want to ad my own translation, write some subtitles and then merge it with the moviefile..

Anyone know which program I can write subtitles in?

I assume that the same program can be used to transfer the txt in the bottom of the movie (avi file) and then merge...but if anyone has the knowledge I would appreciate some help/suggestions.

regards mike

I don't know about doing a whole movie, sounds like a lot of work, but I make my own Karaoke using Video Deluxe. I add subtitles to music videos and edit out (or at least try to) the vocals. There are plenty other video editing programs (Pinnacle Studio, Adobe) but I prefer video Deluxe for it's simplicity.

you can make a txt file, rename it to *.sub or *.srt then set time right using subsync... never done it this way but think this is possible... ;)
