Hello everyone.

This notice will be published on most trackers were pankkake was an active contributor: RED, OPS, DB9, PTP.

We heard this morning that pankkake commited suicide on Tuesday. Of course we weren't aware of his intentions. His last words http://laurent.bachelier.name/notes-en.txt

We do not share his ideas, but we also think it is important not to censor his last words.

It's no secret that he didn't always see eye-to-eye with with REDacted's policies, but those disagreements appear insignificant compared with his passion for music and his dedication to sharing it for over a decade.

A few days ago, he told us he created a DC++ hub to share music. It's now clear he meant this as a file sharing legacy of sorts.
We believe it's important to share his collection as broadly as possible, therefore we offer anyone who wishes to do so to join us on his hub.
pankkake was a keen collector of underground music in all shapes and forms; his library weighs about 10 TB.

In his will, he asked that his computer be left on so that he can still seed from the grave, therefore it might be useful not to disable his account yet.

R.I.P. pankkake

This message was written by his friends on #french.

Just copy and paste - I no way know this guy or his views, or had any interactions...

To be fair - every single thread that popped up on Redacted, PTP, even Reddit was locked and deleted - since.....
Well people took issue to him being a covid denier, KKK in his name, and there was a Nazi phrase hidden in his suicide letter - understandably so.

Curiosity got me to Google a bit. If he was even a real person and did commit suicide, both of which one can be sceptical about given his online persona, his biggest flaw was getting into his head that he was somehow superior to other people and thus had free reign to treat them badly. As for the KKK bit and the Nazi phrases, pankkake is a slang term and the k's aren't interconnected so that's a stretch and someone referencing Nietzsche doesn't necessarily make them either Nazi sympathizers or French.

Anyway, death brings an end to all conflict and so let the dead, both the good and bad rest in peace.

Does he reference him?

Anyways - people pointed out that this is listed in this suicide letter

https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/14-words

You can find it verbatim in the letter - it's just missing the word 'white'

Forgive my ignorance as I only took the four years of advance math at university and don't have a post graduate degree or anything but without "white" then it's only 13 words and as such lacks the explicit racial overtones.
Granted I understand that White supremist groups like QAnon and the Proud Boys like to sometimes communicate cryptically assumingly not to avoid censorship but rather because they haven't yet fully come to terms with their own latent homosexuality. Still I dunno 'bout you but if I was writing the last words that I would ever write on this Earth then I most surely would say exactly how I felt in clear undebatable explicit terms. Note to anon sorry but it's not looking good at this point about Messi, the little cunt.

Just playing dead person advocate here but without the word "white", p.etc could just as easily been taking about African Americans or our Jewish brethren, both who have on more than one occasion referred to themselves as "our people".

I mean you can be his advocate - but people weren't basing it off one letter. Him claiming he was a time-traveling Nazi on forums and defending 'Nazi music' as he put it. His movie snatches on PTP speak for themselves...

Him claiming he was a time-traveling Nazi

Well, to be fair that sounds pretty cool.

Not discounting the possibility of the guy being clinically insane but him just being a 4chan type pointlessly malicious douchebag troll seems at least as equally likely. I mean, actually believes he's a time travelling Nazi vs merely an internet asshole trying to turn people's screws? I know the one of those two I'd be betting on if my life depended on it.
Btw linking to a private forum that I can't read didn't really change my opinion of the alleged dead person. Frankly, I need better proof ie any.
Anyway what some/most people post on the internet isn't worth the paper it isn't written on. Find me a picture of him in full Nazi regalia or killing gypsies while standing beside Trump holding a Confederate flag or something. You know, non-conjecture type stuff that will hold up in court.

Upon arrival in 2020, his first words were, "Well, seems like my work is already done here..."

Surprised staff or ex-staff don't have access to the major sites, PTP, RED, BTN....

Frankly, didn't post it for you.

that will hold up in court.

Someone posting something online will hold up in court - regardless of the medium/venue. It can be twitter, facebook, reddit, or even a forum on a torrent site.

I don't have access because I found I didn't have use for that particular site, mainly because I prefer listening to the voices in my head.
If we only throw words out on the internet for specific people to read then Emma Watson will need to unblock me for that to work.
Either you are not a lawyer or you don't know why such is called evidentiary support and not evidence. Even handwritten documentation can be disputed. Try making a case entirely around that something posted on someone's account was actually written by that person and not their dog.

Even with such a pompous attitude all you're doing is displaying your ignorance. You're the type of person, that even when they're proven wrong - their ego can't take that hit. So they just dig themselves deeper.

At the end of the day, you can be held civilly and/or criminal liable based on what is written online. This is why there are cases based around cyber libel and online harassment. Let me threaten to kidnap someone https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/875 - I could go on.

"My dog used my computer" Uhh, yes if only such a defense worked for people who sent lewd comments to children. Spent 100s of hours in a courtroom in my previous day job. Seen quite a bit.

You're probably post some verbal word vomit - to try to prove your point when all you'll be doing is spreading misinformation.

Don't you think you are a bit harsh on the guy??

If you read Idol's posts here, he has a certain style of putting words on a page, but most of the time it is not meant to do anyone harm.....

In the future just read between the lines and you will get a different view;), plus he has his menstrual cycles more often then normal women..

And considering he is juiced in here, just fucking relax on him:yup:...

Happy New Year:cheers:

This is all because I'm Black, isn't it?

Btw speaking as a person of colour, we usually prefer "uppity" instead of "pompous". Try to be more racially sensitive, please.

To be fair that statute seems limited to cases of making online threats and besides my dog wrote my previous reply.

I'm both an alcoholic and an angry drunk. A lot of people I later went on to physically assault have told me that's a bad combination.

Well, as a member of the black delegation - you aren't the ambassador for black people - so pompous it is.
