I believe that a peep&#39;s opinion on a team should be based on their performance on the pitch and not just something someone say&#39;s, and England&#39;s performance lately has been a bit up and down but overall it&#39;s one of the best spell&#39;s of good results, some great ones too, we&#39;ve had for a very long time :)

I wish all the team&#39;s in it the best, though don&#39;t expect me to be wishing that when England are facing you as i&#39;ll be cursing those team&#39;s like hell then LOL ;) :P

I&#39;m not English as is probably apparent :rolleyes: but first off want to congratulate you on your post re. one spoilling it for the rest. Now re. your post about banning the fans, I travel abroad to watch my team and it is one of the best things there is so it woyuld be a shame to ban eveery1 and take that away from the decent supporters who simply go for the joy of the game, but agree the team should go not the players fault about things off the park and they were the ones who achieved the results to get them there.

The only other answer would be tighter control of who can get tickets, stopping bars and clubs opening before AND after the game on match days and better policing.

I am not an Anglophobe.

I believe it was I who opened the first thread when the English Chaps won the rugger World Cup.

Neither have I anything against the English Football Team, I wish them well and trust they will have a successful tournament. With any luck their fans will not cause trouble. I believe they were exemplary in Japan, however that may have been a socio-economic thing, given the distance.

However and I say this after due consideration, a certain type of English (football) fan has a history of triumphalism. Not in a nice friendly way. In a serious and demeaning way.

Right. I&#39;ve put ScribbleC on moderation, it&#39;s only a day, it&#39;s his first warning that I could find since the new warning system went into place, but it&#39;ll give him a chance to cool off. Sorry, but comments like that are NOT going to be tolerated.
