Go to MS Dos mode, find that file and delete it. You'll be successful!

you may not be able to delete it because you still have kazaa open. Close it first before you try to delete it. But I would be worried more on how it got there. Update you anti virus software first and then run a full system scan. You will probably find out that it is a virus. The file size and name sound suspicios to me. http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/b/smiley2k.gif

you have a virus
its the W32/Spybot-B

you need to download http://www.grisoft.com to get rid of it, its also the best AV IMO

none of these things work, whenever i try to install or run something related to the virus it shuts down. i have norton, but when it opens it closes a ffew seconds later, same with regedit, task manager, and a bunch of other stuff.

Got any Ideas?

norton for you  but more likely you fell behind on updates
have you tried avg? this is the only "other"AV I reccomend http://www.sophos.com
avg and sophos are free, shophos you need a crack after 30 days

nod32 is a very good av (better detection than norton)

nod32 is very good on resources :)
also very quick to do a full system scan (approx 6 mins on my 130GB+ of files (albeit a lot of those are music/video)

Once again you got a virus, you can download a removal tool from McAfee called STINGER (http://vil.nai.com/vil/averttools.asp) or go to NORTON Removel tool (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/tools.list.html) web site and download the removal tool once you find out what virus it is.

Also you can try and start your computer in safe mode and see if norton will kick in so that you can use it to remove the virus. You could probably delete the file in safe mode too. http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/b/smiley2k.gifhttp://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/b/smokin.gif
