Hi Everyone.
Thanks to everyone who has tried to help with their advice.
I still cant get anything to download on Kazaa.
People seem to be able to upload from me okay. But i cant get anything down.
It used to be fine but for some reason has just stopped.
I am finaly at the end of my tether and am giving up on kazaa.
Can anyone suggest a good P2P alternative.
Thanks again to all who tried to help me.

You can use BT or Supernova if you have bittorrent,or Mirc.

turn your share folder off just go into your option and speed up your dl by letting the computer scan for new files every30 secs if you want to share do what i do only let 1 at a time that way its not slowing your dl limit the bytes too

I was in the same boat...Went to Bt for a while and now I'm back...I still use Bt for new releases....but...

NOTHING BEATS THE SELECTION ON K++...

I like to DL older movies, tv shows, and single songs, and that is what i love about this program!

Have patience, read the tips section keep at it because you will be back!!!!

Just my opinion.... ;)

Don't think this will solve it but if your on Windows XP you should try disabling your normal Windows XP firewall and keep it disabled since it sucks and disable anything else that might be hogging your resources like anti-virus, msn messenger any other firewalls etc . . Disable all these for a while and see if that makes any difference.

Those new smileys come in handy. Also, that is the worst advise u could give why using kazaa the only time u should turn AV of is if internet is off.

iMesh (http://www.imesh.com) is probably the best KaZaa alternative , And is also 56K friendly :)
