98 Lite Micro Install

Got any ideas how i can make K-Lite work with a non-IE, 98Lite micro install?

i'm running it on a 333 Celeron, with Opera.

Whatever help can be given will be welcome.

Kazaa Lite K++ v2.0 and later demands BOTH IE v6 and Media Player be installed in order to be installed.

Why these requirements even exist, let alone weren't removed, I do not know.

Ach! There's no way i can configure the setup somehow? Maybe by adding to the Registry, DLL and SYS files? I thought perahaps if i jimmied around a bit with the background stuff i could get it to work....
