Okay, I just installed Overnet and I am looking to download the original version of Age of Mythology. However once I am in Overnet, I get a message saying that they have detected a firewall blocking internet traffic. I find this strange as I have no firewall open, or even installed anywhere on my computer. Is there something in my settings I have to change? Or maybe try a different port?
Any ideas please
Kai

2 possible reasons

1.) do you have a router??

2.) unless u bought the game its very unlikely u can play online wit a pirated key

So that's illegal. Why don't you ask you father about the router? After all he's your bib DAD.

your router is acting as a firewall which means you will have alowid on the overnet network well its similar to emule right

i think its port 4662 you have to forward to your pc and it will work. ask your dad to do it for you. ;)

Congratulations! Your an asshole

No it's not illegal at all, it's the same idea as having a router and a cable going to a computer in the next room, its just this about 20 metres from our house, but is still the same idea, and not illegal at all, in fact our ISP came and installed it for us.

and my dad doesn't know shit all about computers, he just has one to do his work on, that's it
For all the jokes about my router being in my dad's office, it's only there because he's the one payin...so i get the good deal out of it. High speed internet, no charge, with a ---->legal<---- cable into my room...who's laughin now??
yeah put that in your pipe and smoke it dick face

Kai

Oh and for you people that actually did help and aren't assholes, Thanks very much, it is greatly appreciated

go to options>network> here you have 2 ports you need to forward in the router, after that you need to get the kanat( i'm not sure if thats what theycall it, but they use a verion of it also) now if after all that you still get this message then you need to set your pc as a dmz host (which opens all the ports basically, kinda like the router is not there, as far as the protections goes, you can still use it for internet connection but dmz basically drops down all the firewalls) then it will work
