Lame Avatars

I've only been away for a few months..... ok it maybe longer but in that time it looks like most people have changed over to using really lame and boring avatars.

Why is this????????????????????

although I wouldn&#39;t mind a Santa hat on my monkey, but too lazy too learn and I suck at animation gif&#39;s to do it, if anyone wants to do it feel free :D

Everyone has a reason for the avatar they choose, and no one here has the right to make someone change another person&#39;s apart from the mod&#39;s/admin if they feel it break&#39;s the forum&#39;s rules in anyway.

Personally, I think that saying other peep&#39;s avatar&#39;s are lame when your own is lame IMO is stupid ;) :P But, my opinion of your&#39;s is just that, my own opinion and it shouldn&#39;t make any difference to you as you have your own reason for choosing yours and obviously think it&#39;s cool :)

As everybody keeps pointing out that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If they want a lifeless, boring and dull avatar thats up to them and I started this thread with a simple question WHY. A simple answer would have been prefered instead I&#39;ve been flamed for asking it.

But my opinion stands they are lifeless, boring, lame and dull perhaps there a reflection on the people using them.

It&#39;s a damn fine hat and it doesn&#39;t slow the board down for my friends who use 56k modems.

Neither does it suggest to them to turn avatars off, to make the board dull and lifeless.
