Should I Use Linux? [Archive]

I am thinking of starting to use linux. Wat are some good advantages that linux has that windows doesnt? Is it worth the donwload and is it hard to use?? And wat wud yu recommend for a total n00b in teh linux world to download and use for teh first time??

well worth a look even if it is just for a bit of fun. its stable and has plenty of software.
