i might be getting a new 80gb hd, so i can use my current 40gb as storage. Is there anyway or things i can use to copy everything on the 40gb to the 80gb so i dont have to install everything again?

There are many software programs out there that do something like that. I personally prefer a program called Casper XP 1.0. It runs on XP and it allows you to copy the whole partition or the whole physical drive to another source. Very easy to use and very small in size too! I think I downloaded it from eMule buy if you can't find it anywhere just PM me and I will help you out. :)

it really is very easy to use. like all program you either need to play around with it for a minute to figure it out or read the instructions.

The combination of Partition Magic and Norton Ghost is unbeatable.

Ghost may look complicated, but you can set the whole operation up and see what is going to happen before you actually execute it.
It's actually quite intuitive.

Both PM and Ghost are available from fosi (as Kunal already mentioned) or from the FT network itself.

Kunal, what does "be careful with it" mean?
It's always worked without a hitch for me...

A torrent for Norton Ghost is on suprnova. (http://suprnova.novasearch.net/list_torrents/apps.html)

Edit: try a download manager on fosi's site, like ReGet Pro (http://www.reget.com/en/)

meaning it can screw your hdd completely (just like it did to my mates...) and you lose all your data and need to re-partition from srach <_<
