View Full Version : Upgraded To 2.43 And Now Not Connecting

Hi,

Just upgraded to Kazza Lite K++ 2.4.3 and now it won't connect.

Tried jumping supernode and re-starting but nothing working. My ISP is AOL, previous version worked fine.

Why don't you go back to the old version? Anyhow there's slight difference with the new one.

I have checked but i can't see any firewalls, does anyone know how to do a thorough check? I also cannot see secure sites

reinstall the whole program, i have a feeling you didnt uninstall the old version before you installed <_<

yes, the same files that were in the old version

ok. take all the files that are in "my shared folder", and put them in a temporay folder (make a new folder and put all the files in there)

then after "my shared folder" is empty, restart kazaa lite

trying that just now, thanks...says it will take 27mins :(

it says in the help that aol is one of the ISPs that may block KL

27 mins&#33;, y would it take that long?/ all ur doing is moving the files to a different folder

I think you need now Registry Medic to check what errors occuring in your registry.

I suspect that he d/loaded a bad copy of Klite 2.4.3 version.

have you checked your firewall??? are you behind a router??? network?? more info please, what is your os???

OS is Window XP.

I had previously posted that I have checked under network connection and cannot see a firewall but if there is any other way of checking I would be grateful to hear about it as I cannot see secure sites either (SSL is activated)

Not a bad version of Kazza, tried three diff locations and all the same problem

have you disabled your xp internal firewall???

and again how are you connecting to the internet??? router, modem, what??? the more info you give me the easier and faster it is :lol:

Turned out that it was Norton Internet Security, even though it was disable and the XP and NIS firewalls disabled the ports were still blocked, the only was to get it working was to uninstall NIS&#33; Now, what was that someone was saying about a registry medic, sounds like I might need it&#33;&#33;
