Is it possible to disallow other users from using certan programs on the computer using windows xp home, if i am the system administrator. for example ICQ or Kazza Lite

Are you trying your son not to access it? Pretty sure one of these days there will be another post to know how to open kazaa lite if you are a limited user :lol:


You can create new limited user accounts but I am not sure whether you can set each user's permission for a specific software. Unless when you are installing it then specify it to be used only by the current user or Admin.

Just dual boot xp and xp, and then when he goes on, tell him to use the other boot, and you use the main boot, it will be all good then. ;)
