Since a few people have been asking about Updating XP, i thought this might be useful. The link is to the English language page from where this package is available to download, rather than using Windows Update.


Microsoft has released Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Windows XP. An update rollup is a cumulative set of hotfixes, security patches, critical updates, and updates that are packaged together for easy deployment. Update Rollup 1 for Windows XP is a single package that includes many previously released critical updates for Windows XP. this has been out for a while, and ive used it the last few times ive formatted (a monthly thing... manily for speed reasons)
