Oh yeah! They sued quite a few people but they seem to be more interested to settle the dispute outside the courts. Anway, they want people to pay like $250 per shared song and for those that have alot, they demand around $10,000 or so.

If you disable Allow others to view my shared files in K-Lite then you should be just fine. All they do is hire a company that uses Kazaa to look at what other people share, get a list of their files, username and IP. Then they sue you but if you have that feature disabled they can't do shit because they don't know what you share.

looking at your files is only one way, main way is they grabb your ip when you come out to share

if you want some good protection then use a socks5 proxy
