don't know if anyone else does this, but when i get a video file that's not too great in quality, i reduce my screen resolution (from 1152x864 to 800x600) which serves to 'increase' my video quality.
of course, the video quality itself isn't affected, however, the picture is much less stretched, which makes the picture seem better :)

edit: this is of course assuming you view the videos in full screen mode

i dont think these games makes much of the difference anyway, i might be wrong but thats they way i feel it.

never tried it myself because i only download good quality movies. I hate watching bad quality ones :angry:

you can also improve the image quality by sitting further back from your monitor, or putting your beer goggles on.

even if you download a good dvd rip at 720x* then it&#39;ll still have to be stretched if you&#39;re normal resolution is 800x600 or higher ;)
