Opens today, though I saw it last week at a sneak preview. Truly one of the best movies you will see this year. Tom Cruise isn't always enjoyable for everyone to watch. However, you will find this movie to be gripping and satisfying, much in the same way Braveheart helped Mel Gibson's career. Obviously, I have not seen the 3rd LOTR movie, but in my opinion, this is the BEST FILM you will see this year, hands down. Think: OSCAR ;)

lol Matrix isn´t hard to understand at all. Go watch some David Lynch movies. Then again he has said that it is what you make of the film that matters (or something like that, obviously it´s not a direct quote :P ).

- need to see dramatic drama

but when i see Tom Cruise : i think of the all american colonial dreem cliche with reference to

Tom Cruise can be glad they used trained professionals who knows how to handle a sword. During filming something went wrong with some equipment and Tom Cruise nearly got his head chopped off. Wonders what would have happened if the guy holding the sword was another normal hollywood actor.

Nice to see some other Ghost Dog fans. It&#39;s one of the best &#39;arthouse&#39; movies I&#39;ve ever seen. I normally stay away from such low budget productions, but I caught it at a small cinema in another state.

Anyways, The Last Smurai looks sweet, whether tom cruise is or isn&#39;t a good actor, it&#39;ll be worth watching.
