Msn Messenger Noob

I just activated MSN Messenger that comes with xp and i have no clue ,it says is v.4 and the last is 6.1.0203 .I want to know how to updated from the 4 version to 6?

MSN that comes with XP has no version 6.1.
5.0 is the latest WINDOWS MESSENGER. ;)

there are 2 versions:

WINDOWS messenger
MSN messenger


Windows messenger is Add-free ;)
