Yahoo Companion

this might be old news :unsure:
but for those who use the yahoo companion,
they added a popup blocker, seems to work ok,
even when browsing from the ie6 search bar
just some FYI and an alt to google for anyone lookin
(heard somethin about google and spyware,
dont remember if it was the toolbar or not,
and dont have a clue about wether or not yahoo
contains spyware, i just updated it) :D
went to a site that i know has popups like crazy
and didnt get one :P

*edit* you still see ads on the page if it contains them
but none of those %@%$@$%@ing popups (yet)

i had that companion but it seems to interfer with my bt connection cause bt and yahoo joined, conflicts is the word i was trying to find so i got rid of it

hmmm, havent noticed it interfering with anything here,
but its good you said something in case i run into anything similar

i just browsed astalavista to test it out again and it did ok
(keep gettin some freakin 'newhost.sk' popup though) :unsure:
probably need to run spybot :P
