if the test disc works you are doing something wrong, and if you get a dvdr try again with kdvd
I can't wait to I get one, it recoreds 6 hours dvd standard and 10 hours svcd standard

i have a dvd burner (memorex 4x) but i cant really afford that many dvd+r's let alone have the time to convert to mpeg2 so i still use/make vcds.
