Avi Preview Not Workin

i dunno if this has been asked before. but is any one else been gettn a messed up avi preview thingy. cuz ever since i installed the codec update (full version) from kazaa website, it will only preview a movie for 7 seconds or so, then thats it. also, whe i uninstalled it, it worked grand. any one any ideas on what to do?

Sorry its called VideoLan
in kza extensions options make sure to make the file "preview with" videolan

emmm how do i enable it to preview with viedo lan?

I had the same problem with my avi preview using the latest codec pack.

when installing the codec pack just uncheck (AVI Directshow Spitter) in the filters option. It works fine for me after that.
