Playing Burned Dvd's In your Play Station 2 isnt very hard. Just do what I did. :)

1. YOU NEED TO HAVE A DVD Ex. (I used Pirates Of The Carribean)

3. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A DVD BURNER !!!!

( I used the new TDK DVD+/-RW and +/- R.)

2. YOU BURN IT WITH DVD X COPY. (I used Dvd X Copy Gold.)

( This Process Might Take A While, Because the Dvd Burner Needs To Copy The Data Onto the hardrive and Burn It onto a Dvd ( 4.7 Gb)

( I Burned It on The Plextor Dvd+R )

HINT: THE BACK OF THE DVD IS BLUE LIKE SOME PLAY STATION 2 GAMES LIKE TEKKEN 3 ETC.....

4. MAKE SURE IT WORKS ON YOU COMPUTER.

5. IF IT DOES POP IT INTO YOUR PLAY STATION 2 AND ENJOY :)

( I dont know if this will work on Xbox ) Someone let me know.....

THIS CAN BE ALL DONE WITHOUT ANY MODCHIPS. :)

well if you belong to netflix you could rent 40 movies in a month and make a copy of each one. Then you just got 40 movies for the $20 neflix fee and the cost of the dvd-+r. that is the only reason you would want to do that. Although to get 40 dvds that can work almost anywhere for about $60 is not a bad deal.

thats a sound idea, but his way would be more expensive in the long run, instead of getting the more expensive blanks as to possibly trick the ps2 into playing it (might not works on the newer ps2) you could save and get the cheap dvdr's, just get a mod chip it be cheaper in the long run + you get to play backup's of your ps2 games

NO I MEANT IF U WANTED TO BURN YOUR FRIEND WHO DOESNT HAVE A DVD PLAYER BUT HAS A DVD PLAYER THEN YOU COULD BURN IT AND GIVE IT TO HIM. INSTEAD OF BUYING ANOTHER DVD OR DOWNLOADING THE SAME MOVIE WITH CRAPPY QUALITY OFF THE INTERNET.

1. USE A REAL DVD

REAL = IF YOU HAD A HOME MADE DVD AND YOU ARE TRYING TO BURN IT. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN THE FIRST PLACE.

**IF YOU RECORDED SOMETHING WITH YOU CAMCORDER AND BURNED IT ONTO YOUR DVD MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.**

AND I JUST WANTED TO USE A REAL DVD PROFESSIONALY MASTERED BY A COMPANY. just in case................. ;)

my friend just burned 2 movies to DVD-R and both play in his playstation 2, but NOT in his DVD player. so the moral is, the simplest shit almost always seems to work...ockham's razor.. :D
