Kazaa Lite Extermination - The Alternatives

Kazaa Lite extermination - explaned in this story here:

Is the theory valid ? What are we going to do about it ?

Please vote on these options:

1. Do a full KL++ 2.6
2. Hack and use Kazaa +
3. Use multi-net programs like MLDonkey or giFT (and maybe improve them)
4. Merge with IMash clean, and use it's clean version (or help improve it to the level of KL++)
5. give up Kazaa and go to EMule/Others ?

The hardest part is removing the ALL THE CRAP ....which would need to happen with improving V2.6 anyway...so these genius' might as well go the extra mile to install K++ V2.6

Diet-k do that ( remove the crap) how is posibile? Maybe someone can hack Diet-k to see how it works,no?

They write that Diet K 2.6 now has - unlimited "search more" &#33; Does it work automatically like in KLE ? or you have to manually operate it ?

If it is like in KLE (automatically) - changing the paticipation level to 1000 will make it quite usefull. don&#39;t you think ?

well but whose gonna do this? the start is made by creating KLR by RN.. somebody must take over that project :D well i know some one who understands the code of KLR and is willing to improve it.. but the last time i spoke to him he couldn&#39;t unpack kazaa with SoftIce due it doesn&#39;t work on his system. so if anybody who can unpack it and can host or send it... :) then also there could be messed around in the resource sections.. So there&#39;s where to start..

I think the GUI should be revamped. People think K-Lite has died so if it comes back from the dead it should come back with style.
If hacking the GUI is too much work, then perhaps a new skin would be the best. :)

And it should have a different name too.

I&#39;d say move on, don&#39;t try to fight a fight you can&#39;t win. Unfortunately eMule is so sloooooowwwwww I really can&#39;t get decent DL speeds like I do with kazaa (sometimes >120Kb/s)

I DL&#39;ed diet K but I can&#39;t get it to work too many bugs, crahes when a do a search fucking around with lite to get my peerlevel up, it sucks.....

Definitely Kazaa Lite 2.6.0.Using Sharman&#39;s kazaa + diet k is like having to swallow shit first and then try to get the bad taste out with mouthwash,you might get most of it out but you still know in your head that you actually swallowed shit in the first place.

Hmmm, this doesn&#39;t make much sence. The post is about what shall people use if K-Lite K++ gets cut from the network by Sharman.
Well, many people have already mentioned that if it did get cut, then it would end up having it&#39;s own network. So if in fact it would have it&#39;s own network among all the K++ users, why would people switch to a different p2p app/network altogether, which would probably have less users than even just K++ together would have.
As it is, from what I&#39;ve always heard, the Kazaa network has more users than all others put together, by a long shot. And as people already mentioned, alot of that userbase is K++ users.
Which in my opinion, the creation of the Clean KMD builds available right now, are actually hurting a good thing. Since now, if people give up on K++ and use the Clean KMD, we&#39;ll all be back to where we started... using Kazza again.
I was really lookin forward to just being on a network with just K++ users.

This is true. A way to overcome this - is for the developers of the KLR & clean Kazaa 2.6 - to devote effort to eliminating the "ban" it&#39;s supernodes suppose to have for KL K++ users. It is most important, since at the moment KL K++ is the only solution for Win 98 users that are about 25% of the total&#33;&#33;&#33;

Well when will the Final Vote be made to start making the new program? I want to know what is going to happen next for Kazaa lite. If you need programers or ideas just post help questions on the boards. I just dont want Kazaa lite to end without a newer program out there. Well good luck on making a better program&#33;
