How To Download Folders + Complete Contents On Soulseek.

This is just for the new Soulseek users (ofcourse ;) )

I see a lot of users on SS that have all their files shared in 1 folder (---> SS people hate that :angry: )
This is because most of the new soulseek users are used to the (My shared folder of Kazaa)

This way we have too much work when we want to find a "full" album.
And most of us won't even bother.

Here's the trick...

When you "browse" someone's files and get the list, "right-click" the folder you want on the left of the screen and click "download folder"
This way that exact folder will be created by Soulseek.
So when it's completed all you have to do is "move" that folder later and add it.

WARNING! don't do that with a Root folder, or "all" other SUB folders will be selected as well, and you get banned by most users NO question asked!

this goes with what Rocktron says i felt like adding pictures to make it easier for the extreme n00bs. When you are in the KLF MusicWorld or any other room u want to Right Click you will see these options and then click browse files. When you get "error trying to get file list" that means theres something wrong [Firewall, router, SS being cranky etc] Restarting SS might help...

When you get "No Files Shared" that means that person works with "userlist" only, which means you have to ask this person to add you [PM]

This is just an example of how to organize your files for people. But have each artist and the name of the cd like show here. Makes it easier for people to d/l if they know the artist and album

Why the hell would this post be deleted? Its good for begginers..myself. I get the Error message when browing almost EVERY time. And my firewall from xp or w/e is not on and i dont have a router or nothin.

because her post was there to help me out cause i had some information that was wrong and so she posted what i should have said and it didnt need to be said twice so she wants her post deleted.
